Pittsburgh didn't get the result it wanted against Cleveland, but Roman Wilson gave the Steelers another reason to believe their passing game can become more dangerous.

The young receiver caught three passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in the 27-24 loss, continuing a stretch in which he's making meaningful contributions whenever his number is called.

With DK Metcalf drawing plenty of attention from opposing defenses, having another receiver who can turn opportunities into big plays matters. Wilson doesn't need to replace Metcalf as the focal point of the offense. He can make the entire unit harder to defend by becoming a consistent threat alongside him.

Wilson now has an opportunity to record at least 60 receiving yards and a touchdown for the third consecutive game. That would be another encouraging sign that his recent production is developing into something the Steelers can rely on.

Indianapolis comes to Pittsburgh next, and the Steelers will be looking to bounce back from a frustrating divisional defeat. If Wilson keeps finding ways to contribute, the offense could have another valuable weapon as the season moves forward.
