Had a few cool classics come through in the last few days. Early 50’s Murray Strato Line needs a good bath but is in remarkably good and complete condition for its age. The Schwinn Stingrays, one standard and one Pea Picker are the first reproductions from Schwinn in the 1990s. They are the most authentic reproductions to date that Schwinn has made and it’s crazy to think but stuff from the 90’s is considered vintage now! 🤯

Here’s a really nice vintage Dahon folding bike that just became available. Folding bikes are a great way to make a hybrid commute by parking cheaply away from downtown or using public transportation and trails/bike lanes to quickly get to work. This model has 3 speeds and folds up into the size of a small suitcase. We have many other new and vintage folding bikes to choose from as well.

A new indoor bike park is coming back to Pittsburgh but they need a little help getting started. If you can help by donating on indiegogo.com or spreading the message it will help these local cyclists get a new park opened up for all of us to ride and enjoy.

Here’s an early Klein that came in recently. Klein bicycles was a unique and innovative company that pioneered the use of aluminum in cycling from the mid 1970s through the 1990s. Gary Klein, an MIT trained engineer from Washington, started producing custom road racing bikes in 1975 and by the early 80s the company had grown to make several models of mountain, road and touring bikes. Known for their wild paint schemes, ultra stiff large aluminum tubing, and innovative performance advancements. Klein bicycles was the pinnacle of bicycle engineering in their day and are extremely collectible and sought after even today. This example, from the late 80s, is in remarkably good condition and original to the period.

Who’s ready for fall? It’s my favorite time of year to ride. The leaves are beautiful and the temperature is just right!

Here at the shop we’re all stocked up on great hybrids and comfort bikes. Great for riding the rails to trails and parks during the best riding season. Stop by anytime for a test ride.

Check out this awesome Sears Spyder bike that just came in. It’s got a sissy bar and banana seat, ape hangers and valve cap dice. But all of that can’t compare with the feeling of the wind in your hair and popping some wheelies with your friends in the ally. Maybe even put a board on a brick and sending it.

This could all be yours for only $199!
