Hello all. I'd like to say, "Thank You", to everyone who commented and hearted or thumbed up the FatPipe Racing van - super kind of all of you. It speaks to the "why" behind why I (we) are literally beating our heads against a wall with an under cc'd, underpowered, two-stroke, side car 🙂 🙂 It also speaks to why we are trying to build a modest business making two-stroke pipes and parts: it's because history MATTERS. It's because analogue matters; and printed books matter, and hand-made matters, and re-using the cast aside matters. AI didn't build the van, AI didn't build the RD's and T500's that we use (or all the Yamaha's, Suzuki's, BMW's, Honda's, Kawasaki's, British bikes, Italian Bikes, or the you name it bikes that all of our fellow competitors use). Data Centers didn't build our fabulous old machines - people inspired by the beauty and utility of quality machine work built them. As long as I am able, we will do what we can to keep our small niche of History alive. Thanks again, and race safe. We will see you at the track.

Well, while we couldn't make AHRMA (American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association)'s Western swing, FatPipe Racing was not standing still! While we are still forging ahead on our RD, T500, and bespoke race pipes - we used the time to "update" the tow vehicle ... figured if one is racing vintage bikes, maybe a vintage rig was in the offing! Behold, the FatPipe Racing vintage hauler!!! HAND PAINTED logos by our good friend Améline Lagasse (we can put you in touch), we hope this this old Ford will stand out at every race. 300 six - 3 speed COLUMN shift manual - roll up windows - vent glasses - no A/C - AM radio ... rocking the '70s both on AND off the track! Under the assumption the old girl makes it, we will be back in action the first weekend of June at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois - cannot wait to be racing again with all of our friends.

PITTSBURGH FRIENDS (and all our other friends 🙂) … don’t forget - NEXT WEEKEND, FatPipe Racing and all of our fellow competitors with AHRMA (American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association), will be at Pittsburgh International Race Complex, just 30 minutes north of the city! Here’s your chance get a full weekend, or come for a full Saturday, of Historic and Alternative Modern motorcycle and sidecar racing. There’s a pic of the schedule that repeats both Saturday and Sunday - 14 races each day with multiple classes per race - amazing stuff here folks.
Also, have a look at our thoroughly revised Yamaha sidecar - no promises yet - will be a weekend of testing - but we’ll be there to give you the best show possible.
Please come visit us in the paddock and spend the day with all the racers. MESSAGE or TEXT me for details about coming out for the day or weekend - see you there!

Hey Pittsburgh Friends - FatPipe Racing is BACK in PITTSBURGH in less than 3 weeks time! Come join us at Pittsburgh International Race Complex with all of our fellow AHRMA (American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association) racers for a full weekend of Vintage Motorcycle Racing, Friday, August 15 - Saturday, August 17 ... just 30 minutes North of the city. If you've not been, this is a MUST SEE on your calendar ... I usually tell folks that SATURDAY is the best spectating day as Friday is all day practice and folks start packing up on Sunday after their individual races (you are of course welcome all weekend!).
Please message, comment, or text, with any questions and we'll be happy to share details of getting you to the races ... REMEMBER, this is the closest we'll ever be to Pittsburgh, would be super great to see you all there! Also we will be at Nelson Ledges Road Course in Ohio come September just an hour and a half from the city.
Be aware that FatPipe Racing is bringing MASSIVE revisions to the 2-stroke RD350 sidecar and there will be a lot of testing going on the entire weekend - we'll be there, but no promises on our performance as of yet :-) :-) :-). We are getting there - and we will NEVER give up on the 2-strokes, my friends!
Special thanks to our engine builder, Monkey Supreme, and genuine ROCK STAR still touring on the West Coast with Mephiskapheles and back just in time for Pittsburgh, Adam Bower at Sole Power Scooters. And finally, HUGE thanks to all the folks at Rosedale Technical College, without whose continued support FatPipe Racing would not be able to maintain the calendar that we currently manage. THANK YOU!

PLEASE like us, follow us, comment, find us on Instagram, etc. We have a new social media project and video channels in the works (courtesy Charles Hannah) for late season and full swing 2026 - any support will be greatly appreciated.

Finally - update on the new FatPipe Racing Yamaha RD sidecar from Roebling Road Raceway last weekend. SUPER successful weekend ... poured rain for Saturday and Sunday's races, so not a lot of development time. HOWEVER, practice all day Friday was a great success - our very first laps out were bang on pace with 3 years of development on the old rig - there is MUCH potential here to be tapped! Bike showed good reliability, stable cylinder temperatures, and a quick willingness to rev. We have some teething issues, and we will need to find a bit more power - but all in all a TREMENDOUS first outing. The FatPipe Racing website is still showing from last season - with new photos and updates I hope to have it ready by next weekend. Thanks again to EVERYONE for all of your support and help, particularly our sponsors, friends, and colleagues, at Rosedale Technical College. Barring catastrophe, we will be at Carolina Motorsports Park the weekend of March 14-16. Please stay tuned.
