📣 Join us for a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for Coach Frank and his Family! 🍝

Many of you know Coach Frank has been a part of our community for years, sharing his passion and dedication with Guyasuta Area Youth Football. Now, it's our turn to give back. Frank has been bravely battling Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia for 15 years, and with recent health challenges, he’s facing new surgeries and medical expenses.

Join us on January 12 from 1 pm to 5 pm at Comfort Inn RIDC, 180 Gamma Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15238 for a day filled with great food and support for Coach Frank and his family.

Tickets: $15 per person, $10 for kids under 12
All proceeds go directly to help with medical and living expenses.

Let’s come together as a community and show Coach Frank the same support he’s always given our kids. We hope to see you there!

**In Loving Memory of George McBriar**

Today, we remember and honor George McBriar, a remarkable man who touched the lives of so many. His journey may have ended, but his legacy of kindness, dedication, and service will live on forever.

George’s final ride to service was a testament to his lifelong commitment to our community. He was a pillar of strength, always there to lend a helping hand and make a difference. Whether it was through his tireless volunteer work, his leadership, or simply his warm smile, George made the world a better place.

His accomplishments were many, and his impact immeasurable. From his involvement in local projects to his mentorship and guidance, George’s influence will be felt for generations to come. He was not just a man of words, but of action, and his legacy is a reflection of his boundless generosity and spirit.

Let us remember George for the wonderful person he was: a devoted friend, a loving family man, and an unwavering beacon of hope and positivity. His memory will continue to inspire us to live with the same compassion and dedication that he exemplified every day.

Rest in peace, George. Your legacy will never be forgotten.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of life member of Guyasuta Area Youth Football George McBriar. George was the husband of our beloved President Barb McBriar, the father to 3 beautiful daughters and the grandfather to 4 wonderful grandchildren.

He served as a remarkable leader and Chief of Blawnox-Glenover Volunteer Fire Company for 32 years. He volunteered as a first responder and as a volunteer fire fighter for more than 40 years.

George was an instrumental founding member of the Allegheny County Swiftwater/Flood Response Team.

Please keep George’s and Barb's family, friends and our community close in your hearts and in your prayers.
