ALL ABOARD

The difference between Will Howard and Drew Allar is the IT factor.

Drew Allar has it and Will Howard doesn't.

"By the end of the year McCarthy will prove Mike Tomlin was a fraud. I guarantee it"' -Mark Madden

He also guaranteed the non losing season streak would have ended without Ben Roethlisberger as well.

So what's your take

Is it more likely the Steelers win a playoff game this year or have a losing season?

TBH Alex Highsmith at this juncture is the best linebacker on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster.

It's honestly safe to say...

Ben was carried during the triple B era.

Just like he was carried to his first superbowl.

If you were Omar Khan would you reach out?

If you were the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers would you start Will Howard week one?

It's been slow news days with the Pittsburgh Steelers... so we are going to go here...

Pennsylvania is going to be in my opinion the 🔑 MUST WIN battleground state that will determine the election.

Is Governor Shapiro considering 🤔 👀 a run for President or is this just grandstanding...

So this is Ben Cherington's big move to fix the bullpen... really?

The Pittsburgh Pirates are a .500 team, and even that might be generous.

If this is the type of move that's supposed to push this team into playoff contention, Pirates fans have every right to be disappointed. This roster needs meaningful upgrades, not moves that leave more questions than answers.

If the front office stands pat or continues making marginal additions, this team is going to stay exactly what it is—average.

And if that's the result once again, there is no legitimate case for bringing Ben Cherington back as general manager. At some point, accountability has to matter. Pirates fans deserve a front office that's committed to building a winner, not one that's content with mediocrity.

How do you grade Don Kelly so far?

I honestly don't know how to grade Don Kelly this year.

I've seen Pirates fans on both sides of the debate. Some believe he's done enough to remain the manager, while others think he's in over his head and the Pirates need to move in a different direction.

At one point, Pirates fans were almost united in wanting Clint Hurdle gone. Looking back, I've always felt Hurdle became more of a scapegoat for years of front office shortcomings than the actual problem.

As for Kelly, I can't give him an A, but I also can't give him an F. I'd probably land somewhere around a C/C+. There have been some positives, and the club has played better stretches of baseball under him. At the same time, there have also been questionable decisions, and it's difficult to truly evaluate any manager when the roster still has obvious flaws.

Where I do have an issue is with the front office's decision to retain him after he took over as interim manager following Derek Shelton's firing. To me, that was an unserious move by an organization that continues to say it wants to win and compete. If the Pirates were truly committed to taking the next step, I believe they should have conducted a full managerial search and hired someone with a more established résumé and a proven track record of leading a winning club. That isn't necessarily an indictment of Don Kelly—it's a criticism of the organization's approach.
So what's your grade?

🅰️ A
🅱️ B
🅲 C
🅳 D
🅵 F

Drop your grade in the comments and tell me why. I'm interested to see where Pirates fans stand.
