Allegheny RiverTrail Park Founded in 2011 and dedicated to the memory of Charles R. It is located at 285 River Avenue, in Aspinwall 15215.

Burke, Allegheny RiverTrail Park (ARP) is an independent nonprofit, featuring a fabulous Playground sculpture by world renowned artist Tom Otterness, a sled riding hill, off leash dog park, a fishing dock with hanging swings, walking trails, and native gardens. During the summer, it offers café, marina, kayak rentals, music, theater, free concert series, summer camps among other programs to the public.

We require that the items you are selling are home or handmade, but we are looking forward to hosting a wide variety of vendors later this year!

The wait is over! We can’t wait to welcome you to RiverRocks tonight at Allegheny RiverTrail Park for an unforgettable evening celebrating the park’s transformation and the exciting future ahead.

Get ready for an evening of local food and drink, great music, and one-of-a-kind experiences along the Allegheny River. We’re thrilled to have you join us as we celebrate this next chapter for our community’s front yard.

‼ Registration for RiverRocks 2026 closes on Monday, October 12th

On Friday, October 16th, we're bringing you an immersive riverfront experience and giving you a taste of what’s to come at Allegheny RiverTrail Park ➡️

🍷 RiverRocks’ general reception kicks off at 6:30pm with Taste of the Riverfront, a curated self-guided tour complete with live music and beverage samples from local favorites, each paired thoughtfully with small bites.

🍺 Take a stroll to each station to sample special features from , , , , , , , and more!

🎻 Live music from , Dave Throckmorton Trio, and Ol' Whitetail will set the mood throughout the park and at each pairing station during the food and beverage tour.

🔥 After Taste of the Riverfront, we’ll come back together for more food, drinks, raise the paddle, and dancing. Together, we’ll honor the remarkable transformation of Allegheny RiverTrail Park while launching a bold new chapter—reviving the gathering place at the heart of our community’s front yard.

🐰 A young Eastern cottontail rabbit, or a ‘kit’, resting in a camouflaged ground nest!

🌙 This kit is alone in its nest because mother rabbits only visit their nests briefly at dawn and dusk to nurse, staying away the rest of the day to avoid drawing predators.

🐕 Hidden ground nests like these are another reason why keeping your dogs on a leash in the park is important! Leave these little guys alone and avoid drawing attention to keep them safe.

‼ If you’d like to take your dog off-leash, make sure that you’re in our fenced-in dog park.

We're just two weeks out from RiverRocks 2026! Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating 15 years of Allegheny RiverTrail Park and the exciting chapter ahead.

On October 16th, your evening begins with Taste of the Riverfront, our new signature "cocktail hour" along the Allegheny River. Stroll the riverfront, enjoy live music, and sample curated bites and drinks from some of the region’s favorite food and beverage makers.

From there, settle in for a chef-curated heavy hors d'oeuvres, an inspiring look at the park’s transformation and vision for the future, music, dancing, and mingling by the firepits.

RiverRocks is more than a celebration of where we’ve been, it’s a celebration of where we’re going. Together, we’ll help bring new life to the gathering place at the heart of our community’s front yard, creating a vibrant four-season hub where neighbors can gather, connect, and make memories for generations to come.
