It has been more than 3 weeks since I sat with the director of Pittsburgh Citiparks and despite my follow up texts, emails and call, I have no reply. I took a puck and stick to the meeting.

NFL Wives desire to do a water safety event Draft Weekend @ Friday AM @ Oliver Bath House and DUQ Women swim team will get training the prior evening with USA Swimming, but I can’t get a return phone call from city.

Wish me luck. Trying to pitch a new set up for Pittsburgh Underwater Hockey. I finally have a meeting tomorrow with the director. Last week’s delay was my fault. The bottom is mid-sized tiles. I think it will be okay. But we’d have to see how it works.

New format as we work towards getting UWH be an Olympic Sport.
The USA has been divided into regions. We are in the Northeast region.
There will be more sanctioned events like this one to develop the sport.

The 2025 Inter-Regional Championships have been announced!

Dates: October 17-19
Location: The Plunge in San Diego
Cost: Depends on number of teams, $1700-$2100/team

This is an exciting opportunity to come together as a region and compete at the highest level in North America. Please fill out this Google form whether you're interested or not so we can gauge demand and start building teams. We aim to send a women's team and an open team, and rosters need to be finalized by September 21st.

Our last day at PCA pool will be June 2.

We have two more in May and once in June. Not on Memorial Day, of course, as that is a 3-day weekend.

Hope to get some outdoor sessions this summer at North Park Pool and perhaps Dormont pool too.

I will be playing on the Orphan C team at Nationals June 20-22, 2025 in Denver.

Happy Monday. This is Mark. I have to go to the airport in the afternoon to pickup my wife. I will be home and to the pool after 7 pm so we can be holding regular practice at or before 8 pm. David, thanks for hosting our two downtown UK guests (Karen +1) and getting them to the pool. If needed, I am around.

FYI, no practice next week due to PPS spring break.

Next week -- no event as I'll be on travels. So, March 3, no UWH.
