Welcome to The Academy of Dance by Lori and Kinderplay Academy located in Mt.Lebanon, PA near the Galleria Mall.
A convienent location for families throughout the south hills! The Academy and Kinderplay Academy were developed to bring fun, creative and educational classes to children ages 2 through adult. The Academy was founded in 1985 by Lori Javornick. In 2001 Michelle Dawson joined her as co-director and director of Kinderplay Academy.

Summer Intensive 2026 is complete! ☑️🎉
We had an amazing 2 weeks with some incredible guest artists! Our dancers trained in jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, modern, bollywood and more. We appreciate these dance professionals sharing their knowledge and love of dance with us! Hope to see you all again soon! 🤍

That’s a wrap on the 25-26 season! What an incredible year we’ve had. So many great memories made with our dance family 🤍 Our teachers are so proud of your hard work and growth this year. We couldn’t be happier!

•Took a master class with Aryn Bohannon from Six:The Musical
•Saw Six for one of Dylan Mulvaney’s last shows and got to meet them
•Took master classes with Cori Jo Swanson and Steven Blandino at Steps on Broadway
•Went shopping
•Explored the city
•Made the best memories with the best people!
