On Saturday, May 9th a brand new 4x/- was welcomed into the TRRA Fleet, named in honor of rower, volunteer, organizational leader and friend, Linda Lang. Linda was one of the first ever female rowers who ever rowed at TRRA, making her a trailblazer for female athletes. TRRA held a naming ceremony along with a very special first row on the Allegheny with Linda herself rowing 3-seat. The surprise dedication and purchase was made possible through the generosity of John Kelly and many others who fundraised for the boat. This boat will extend Linda's tradition of excellence, both on and off the water, and will be rowed with pride by everyone both near and far.

This past weekend, the Lang was raced for the first time ever by our women’s u17 4x. They won gold and will be racing the boat at USRowing Junior National Championships in June. What an awesome first race for the Linda Lang, and the start to an inspiring career!
