Thank you Erie🫶🏼

For a while, I had a feeling that it was time to move on, but I didn’t want to make a decision without first seeking confirmation from God that it was the right one.

After months of applying for jobs, receiving rejections, and often hearing nothing back at all, I began to feel anxious and uncertain about what was next. During that time, I dove deeper into God’s Word and was reminded to cast all my worries and doubts onto Him: 1 Peter 5:6-7 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

Sure enough, an opportunity came along that was a back burner idea of what could be next: pursuing my masters degree as a graduate assistant.

Having to leave so many incredible people, that have meant so much to me has been extremely difficult.

And while this chapter is closing, I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful for where God is leading me next.

Time to answer the “what’s next?”

After an incredible two years at Erie News Now, I’m excited to share that I’ll be beginning a new journey at Mars Hill University this fall.

I’ll be pursuing a Master of Management degree while serving as a Graduate Assistant within the athletic department, supporting game-day operations and returning to one of my greatest passions: play-by-play broadcasting.

My time in Erie has been invaluable. I’m grateful for every opportunity, every mentor, every colleague, and every athlete and coach who trusted me to help tell their stories. The experiences and relationships I’ve built there will stay with me throughout my career.

Most importantly, I’m thankful for God’s guidance through every step of this journey. While the path ahead may look different than I originally envisioned, I trust that He is directing it exactly where it needs to go.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Here’s to new beginnings and the opportunities ahead.

For those who didn’t catch Erie News Now Weekends at 11, I officially announced that this was my final weekend anchoring sports for ENN. 🥺

This decision is entirely my own, and while my time at the anchor desk has come to an end, I still have three more days of reporting before my final day on June 3.

Over the last two years, I’ve had the privilege of telling the stories of Erie’s incredible athletes, coaches, and teams. From Friday night lights to championship moments, and fulfilling a dream of covering the NFL.

A huge thank you to everyone at Erie News Now who welcomed me from day one and became so much more than coworkers along the way. The friendships and memories made here will stay with me forever.

And to all of you who have watched, shared stories, sent messages, stopped me in public, or simply followed along—thank you. Whether you came here for the sports coverage or for my occasional appearances in Meteorologist Kelly Roland’s videos 😂, your support has meant the world to me.

As for the question: “What’s next?”

You’ll have to stay tuned. 😉

For now, I’m looking forward to making the most of these final few days and saying thank you to the community that has given me so much support!
