The Inaugural 2026-27 Barrels of Fun Pinburgh Tour

Pittsburgh, PA — Pinburgh and Barrels of Fun Pinball have officially launched the 2026-27 Barrels of Fun Pinburgh Tour (BoFPT), a season-long series of competitive pinball events leading to an elite, high-stakes Tour Final. Tournament organizers worldwide are invited to apply to host an official stop, with applications closing on October 30, 2026.

The inaugural season will feature up to 20 select Tour events globally. Host venues will receive dedicated promotion across PAPA social channels, official branding, and an exclusive Pinburgh ticket to award. Each BoFPT participant will also receive one ballot to win a new-in-box Barrels of Fun machine to be drawn at Pinburgh 2027.

Players competing in any official stop will earn points based on their finishing rank to climb the unified season standings. At the conclusion of the season, the top 20 players with the highest total BoFPT points will secure an invitation to the free-to-enter Tour Final.

The Tour Final introduces a unique, timed ladder showdown. Four players at a time face a strict five-minute clock, with the lowest score in the 4-player group continuously eliminated until a single survivor remains. Every finalist will play for cash and prizes worth over $20,000, with the ultimate winner taking home a new-in-box Barrels of Fun pinball machine and Player of the Year honors.

"The road to Pinburgh starts here," said the BoFPT organizers. "We are thrilled to give players a clear, competitive path to showcase their skills, culminating in one of the most intense final formats in competitive pinball history."
