Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club

Each year, the Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club awards trophies to club members for progress and points in testing and competitions. As the 2025-2026 season is coming to a close, applications are now open for the Sutton 6.0, Elena Valova IJS, and Aviva Katz trophies which will be presented at recognition night in August.

Please submit applications by July 7 if you or your skater competed IJS or 6.0 this past season. Competitions must have occurred between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026. The attached forms should be printed, completed, and turned in at the RMU Island Sports Center Front Desk. Please ensure “Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club” is on the envelope. Please note that the Valova and Sutton forms require a coach signature.

Please consider nominating a skater for the Aviva Katz trophy which honors Aviva’s grit to overcome obstacles through her love of skating. The Katz trophy nomination is entirely electronic and can be submitted online. Any person – skater, parent, coach, or judge — can nominate any club member (except their own child).
