Celebrating local girls and women sports in Pittsburgh

We are so excited to announce our Field Day!
Has your student wanted to try a sport but isn't sure where to start? Join us for this free event for girls and non-binary youth in grades 6th and up who want to try out a new sport or meet mentors in a sport they already love.

Local teams and organizations will be on hand to run mini-clinics for youth to try various sports in a fun, judgment-free, and supportive space.

Youth in attendance will be able to try out strength and conditioning, rugby, football, soccer, rowing, and more!

We ask that leaders in PGH women's+ sports orgs/teams who are planning to join us, please come around 6:45 pm to get checked in. We will be starting at 7pm.

📢 Calling all leaders in Women+ sports and orgs!

Join us on National Girls & Women in Sports Day for a mixer and organizing event at !

Check in and registration is from 6:45 to 7 pm.
At 7pm, we will start our fun mixer activites as well as discuss a new collective to support Women+ sports and how you can join. We will also be having conversations about future events such as a youth field day for girls in the community to try on new sports and meet role models within our local teams.

We encourage leaders from all local PGH Women+ sports/orgs to come out, meet other passionate folks, and join us in shaping the next journey.

Org Spotlight: Gold Medal Boxing Gym!

About :
Gold Medal Boxing Club is a nonprofit gym founded by Ted Mrkonja, who has over 50 years of experience in the boxing world. He created a welcoming space where both professional and amateur fighters can train, while also providing a supportive environment for people of all ages to learn and grow. His coaching style has helped develop many talented fighters and champions. The gym also serves as a collaborative space where other coaches are invited to teach and share their expertise.
