REMINDER: The Shaler Area Homecoming Parade is TOMORROW (Saturday 10/3)! If you and your child would like to walk in the parade with us, please meet in the parking lot of St. Bonaventure on Mt. Royal Blvd between 10:00-10:30am.We hope to see you there!

Hello SALL Families!

Once again, Shaler Area Little League will be part of the Shaler Area Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 3rd!

If you and your child would like to walk in the parade with us, please meet in the parking lot of St. Bonaventure on Mt. Royal Blvd. Players should arrive to the designated area for SALL no earlier than 10am and no later than 10:30am. Please do not arrive before this time, as the organizers need time to allow the floats and vehicles in the parade to get in position before the individual groups arrive. Note that you will not be able to drive your car in the church parking lots to drop anyone off. Please park and then walk to St. Bonaventure.

Players should wear their SALL jersey from this past Spring or this Fall if possible.

At this time, SALL is tentatively #39 in the parade order, just after Shaler Soccer Club and Dance Junction.

Please see the information below and the attached diagram for additional information.

Hopefully, we can have a big turnout of kids representing SALL at the parade...GO TITANS!!

PARKING LOT
Parents will NOT be allowed to drive through/briefly park in any church lot. NO vehicles are to be in the parking lots (except those that are in the parade).

SHUTTLE BUSES
A shuttle bus will be running beginning at 9:30am from Kiwanis to the Middle School. Those walking in the parade are encouraged to use the shuttle bus to the Middle School and then walk up to St. Matthew Parish-St. Bonaventure Campus to avoid the closed streets and crowded areas.

CANDY
If you will be throwing candy along the parade route (we have some to distribute, but feel free to bring more if you want to!), please be sure to throw the candy far enough out into the crowd so it is not on the street tempting little ones to run out into the parade route.

HOMECOMING STAFF
We will have Homecoming staff to assist in organizing the parade. Please look for staff members (wearing a bright, NEON green shirt) if you need assistance or have any questions.

PARADE ROUTE CONCLUSION
Please walk with our group into the Central Office parking lot and continue up to the hillside to complete the route.

Last call for SALL’s 16th Annual Golf Outing at Saxon Golf Course on Saturday, September 26th!

Event Details
Cost: $500 per foursome ($125 per player)
Format: Scramble (All players hit, choose the best shot, and repeat until you hole your putt)
Registration Opens: 7:00 AM
Sh***un Start: 8:00 AM
Food & Beverages: Provided during and after the round
Activities: Chinese auction, 50/50 drawing, and prizes for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive
