It's that time again where I ask for your support for the Home Base Program as I participate for my 10th year!! in the Run to Home Base at Fenway Park. I've experienced several health hiccups recently and I don't exactly know how, but somehow on July 27 I will get myself through 9K of the streets of Boston. Any discomfort I will feel during it will pale in comparison to what our servicemen and women sacrifice every day. This series of pictures is from my 1st year in 2015 when it all started as a lark so that I could cross home plate of my beloved Red Sox. The feeling of running down the tunnel and seeing Fenway appear is breathtaking. Little did I know that this strapping young man would steal my heart with his story of vulnerability and how Home Base saved his very life. I knew that I would have to raise money every year as long as I could so that Home Base can provide services to our veterans suffering invisible wounds as well as their families all at no cost to them. If you are able, please use my QR code, my link - https://runtohomebase.org/support/ , or search Beth Larrow to donate to this amazing organization. And if you think I was going to let that guy in the red shorts get ahead of me, you'd be wrong - I dusted him to the finish line! For now, I'll be on the treadmill trying to at least be able to walk that far - lol
Thank you so much in advance!

Stephanie Mason was one of my first clients and had some of the best results including a gym record 315lb deadlift, 225lb back squat, strict pull-ups, beating 20yr olds in sprints, running her first 5k, all while losing over 50lbs. More importantly, she was an amazing cousin who helped me with my gym as much as my own parents. Her and her boys were there from beginning to end helping me live my dream. The 5pm Mason class will always miss you.

Every single summer since the beginning of Raw, we get swarmed with the very best youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes looking to take the steps to become the best they can possibly be. Although nothing will ever compare to the madness that was summer 2013, summer 2014 was no different. It takes a month or two to truly realize how many athletes we actually had coming in and out of our doors. How much weight had been lifted, technique had been taught, how many skills had been acquired, how much blood, sweat, and tears had been shed. Someone recently remarked how things were looking rough at Raw because we just lost so many clients. They couldn't be more mistaken. As a coach I know I only have these athletes for a short period of time. I feel lucky to have had them at all. They chose me for those few months, weeks, or even days they were home to help them make a serious impact to their game. An impact that could help them get a scholarship, make varsity, or just make the team at all. To those willing to pay the price of hard work, those willing to get 'training' instead of just a 'workout', our doors are always open and we will always strive to give them 110%. Good luck to all of our athletes that have left. To all those that still remain, lets get to work.
