The Sangha, in the deepest sense, refers to awakened beings who have realized the Dharma and can help guide us on our path. In the West, Sangha is often used more broadly to describe a community of people who come together to practice, support one another, and work toward a greater good.
One message from this month’s book club reading with Thich Nhat Hanh is that our community is an important investment. Our community can celebrate the good times with us and support us through the hard times. It’s important that we have a Sangha, whether that’s a yoga studio, gym, church, or another organization that brings people together for peace and connection.
If you’re looking for community, Karuna Yoga House intentionally keeps our classes small so you can feel seen and get to know the people you practice alongside. We also have Karuna Community Sessions most Thursdays at 7pm.
See you there 🤍
