I’m so thankful for our first responders. I’m thankful that they answer their call to serve, even in our dark and broken world. I’m thankful for their families, who sacrifice time and holidays with their mom/dad/husband/wife/child/friend/loved one so that they can go out and serve their communities. And I’m so thankful for our big, big God and the sacrifice Jesus made for us so many years ago.
Happy Easter, thin line family! He is risen! 💙

On Saturday, December 3, 2022 at approximately 9:25 PM, the Marysville Police Division was called to the area of 326 E. 5th Street in Marysville in reference to the discharge of a firearm. Witnesses reported a male wearing a brown hat with blue lettering, black jacket and khaki pants discharged a firearm into the air during or following a dispute with another individual(s). The suspect fled the scene, south on foot. A search of the area by MPD, Union County Sheriff’s Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol did not locate the suspect. Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified and it is believed he got into a vehicle and left the Marysville area, further attempts to locate him are underway. At this point, MPD does not believe there is a threat to the public. The investigation is continuing and charges will be forthcoming. We thank the Marysville community for their patience and assistance during this investigation.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone especially to those who can’t be with their families today.
Many law enforcement officers across the nation have a different table today and while they are used to sitting there their sacrifice is even greater today as they are away from their families and spending the holidays celebrating on different days.
Thank you to all law enforcement officers and their families. We appreciate you!
