Support Your Skier + Team!!!

Fall is in the air with back to school, dryland training season, and PVNT's Annual Ski-A-Thon coming up on September 25!

With the community's support, the Ski-A-Thon raises funds for camps, ski gear, transportation and scholarships! Every dollar raised goes directly back into Plain Valley Nordic Team.

Join us for a family-friendly ski film fundraiser supporting two great community nonprofits: Plain Valley Ski Trails’ youth ski program, the Plain Valley Nordic Team (PVNT), and Leavenworth Winter Sports Club’s youth Nordic team.

Embark on a global journey from heli-drops in Alaska and high-alpine mountaineering in Chamonix to the legendary powder of Hokkaido, Japan. Take a ride down Banff’s infamous skijoring course, hit the slopes of Deer Valley, and charge Canada’s finest in Revelstoke, Whistler, and Pemberton. Days Off captures the raw, unfiltered heart of mountain culture—a pure celebration of skiing for skiing’s sake and the joy of making time for what matters most.

Tickets are $10 for students and $20 for adults. We hope to see you there!!

The 2026 Whistler Training Camp hosted by Methow Valley Nordic Team came to a close this Saturday. We are already missing the rollerski course, fresh air, and the most amazing athletes and coaches! PVNT had so many fun adventures, including rollerskiing, hiking, running, strength training, and so much more!! Thank you to all of the amazing teams and coaches that made this incredible camp possible! We can't wait for next year!🥳

The first camp of the season for the ADT was a blast! PVNT attended the Parkdale OR rollerski tent camp with 2 other teams. They got to experience excellent roads for skiing, did some group paddle boarding at Laurence Lake, went hiking and found some local huckleberries along the way, and spent a lot of quality time with our fellow skiers from other teams. It was definitely an enjoyable experience, and the ADT is looking forward to the next camp they have coming up later this month!

Have you ever wondered what a day of strength looks like for the SRT? Wonder no more!!
We start out by saying hi to our fabulous strength coach, Nate. Then, of course, we ALWAYS (wink wink) warm up to the best of our abilities.

For the appetizer 🥗
We do a strength circut, focusing on either speed, endurance, or something else😁

Now, for the main dish 🍔
We all have our own weights, and we split up and do them!! This typically includes, but is not limited to: pull ups, push-ups, squats, deadlifts, dips, bench press, rows, and so much more!!

PVNT members are having an amazing week at the annual Trout Lake camp! There have been many adventures, including but not limited to: fun PNW t-shirts, limited showers, finding out there is no lake, no trout, and so much more! The annual Clear Creek camp was a huge success! We utilized this beautiful valley we live in, and our athletes had some high-quality training!

The camp involved many fun adventures, including, but not limited to: Lake Wenatchee, Surprise Mountain, Sparkplug Mountain, the North Shore TT, a forest service road, and bagels from Bavarian Bagel Co. 😁
