In so many ways, PAC Day this past weekend was a great success. Dozens of loved ones packed the sideline, with partners, spouses, children, former players, friends, pets and supporters being there to cheer on the people they love and the club that receives their time and energy.

We have already spoken about the recent growth and building this club has been a part of. There were games in the past where PAC had 15 or less players total on game day, all on the field while the only person on the sideline is Coach Tom, pulling double duty also running with the flag as touch judge.

We are so proud that now the club has a real community. No only are our playing numbers increasing constantly, but these players have so much pride and love for this team that they want to share this energy with everyone they know. These supporters see the joy PAC brings to their lives.

Thank you to everyone who came, and know you have an open invite to every PAC match moving forward, and if you weren’t able to make it, PAC isn’t going anywhere, there is always a community here for you 🧡

PAC Men of the Match this weekend:

Forward of the Match: Nelvin Ssenyonjo
Nelly is both the guy you want next to on the field and the guy you don’t want line up against you. This hard hitter is more than just a talented rugby player, he is part of the glue that holds this culture together. It is impossible to be with Nelly on the rugby field and not have a blast. An incredible teammate and a guy who made plenty of important defensive stops this weekend

Back of the Match: Na’Air Campbell
Na’Air is a player that not only cares about playing well for himself but wants to get better every day for the people he plays with. Na’Air has a voice (both good and bad) that is impossible to ignore and the passion he feels for this sport and these guys makes him a weapon on the rugby field and a tone setter from the first minute of the match

Not the end result we strive for, but with how many of our friends family and players showed up for PAC Day, this weekend showed that there is truly nothing like a beautiful Saturday filled with rugby and good people.

Thank you to the lads at Morris Mens Rugby for always bringing a competitive matchup and for joining us at a drink up we were all able to enjoy together as rugby players

Our squad! This season we have had a number of players put on the orange black and white, some guys who have been around a while and some for the very first time. Every one of them plus anyone who put on a PAC Jersey in the last 52 years is part of this family.

We would like to recognize our President Max Gatto on receiving the award for Big Brother of the Year 2026 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County and his induction into their Legacy Circle!

Max and his little brother Jason have been paired together for over a year and a half and the impact they have had on one another has been extraordinary. Jason continues to grow into a dedicated, thoughtful and caring individual, and with a shared love of playing sports (football for Jason and rugby for Max), their connection continues to grow.

Max works passionately to continue PACs development into one of the premier rugby clubs in all of New Jersey. But this pales in comparison to the relentless energy he pours into the community. Leading by example through his role in BBBS, TASK and many other programs.

We look forward to seeing the continued impact you have on this community, and know you will continue to make PAC proud. Congratulations Max!

PAC Friends and Family Day is this Saturday at Plainsboro Community Park at 1pm! Attempt number two after the original date was in the middle of a Nor’easter, this weekend looks beautiful!

If you have ever played for PAC or support a PAC player, you are part of this family! There are over 50 years of memories, traditions, story and connections, let’s use this Saturday as a kickoff the bring back to life a deep network of brothers to this great club!

Before kickoff we will take a second to acknowledge any former players present, the impact they have had, and the direction going forward! Come on out and share this with anyone you played with as well!

Forward of the Match: Jake Mirra
Jake had a hell of a match making tackle after tackle and giving us 80 minutes when he’s normally prepared to be an impact sub

Back of the Match: Danny Symon
Danny came in expecting to be an emergency sub given a leg injury yet he stepped on within the first half and pushed through any of the pain. Didn’t back down from any contact even though he knew he’d feel it

Not a result we are happy with, using this week as a lesson in growth, perseverance, and unity.

We still have more work to do, but this is a club that as recent as 2-3 years ago was forfeiting D4 matches showing up with less than 10 guys. To have 20+ guys at every D3 matchup playing a full 80 minutes in PAC jerseys is something to be proud of, but also use as motivation because we know what we are capable of.

The score tells part of the story, but it doesn’t show the heart these guys have. Everyone in this club knows what we can do together, we are fully committed to our mission. There is always more rugby to play for the Princeton Athletic Club
