Tonight begin our new offerings!

With the new 3rd room we have the option to provide "while-you-wait" FREE PARENT CLASS options to parents whose kids are in class . Hoping to see our favorite parents taking advantage of this, and getting more out of their time at PMA!

Welcome to the new and expanded PMA! Here's a walkthrough video of the results of our recent construction, adding 1200sf to our space.

Please contact us, if you arenterested in leveling up your personal fitness, your self-defense, BJJ, judo, or wrestling skills, or if you have a child who might love to learn a different kind of sport, where character is built through gamification and the extrinsic rewards of coach and classmate support and cheering. Kids who grow up in martial arts become good people, citizens, and learners for life!

Parents now benefit from the addition of a gym and arcade while their kids are in classes. These are a free amenity for our families!

We would love to give you the tour in person! Hope to see you soon 😀

We had our very first ever black belt test at PMA. Congrats to .jitsu and on a beautiful performance, and on your very well-earned advancements! It was a beautiful night full of community support from PMA folks, as well as 15 black belts from all over the state, including Tom's early mentors, Reggie Sutton and Chris Watson. Thanks to all who supported these gentlemen all the way through their journeys. It is a beautiful honor to award my first black belts, especially to such high-calibur people and practitioners.

Thanks to for this beautiful video of the night!

I'm so proud to announce that PMA is having its very first ever black belt promotion night, tomorrow, June 10th!

Brian Lane and Tom Ragin are the candidates, and we would love to have anyone from any school join us for the celebration.

There will be a technical demo at 6, and guests may come if they like, but most will want to join us for the shark tank portion, which starts at 6:45. Come on down!

A number of my black belt friends are already planning to be there, so the room will be stacked! See you there

Teaching and enjoying being a student this week at Maine camp! Taught a new class yesterday called the Rhino Horn 🦏 and learned a ton of tidbits from the other amazing coaches and my training partners, so far.

Thanks to my friend, Kirk Phillips for this image

Some pictures from tonight's belt test. I'm so proud of everybody who made tonight as special as it was. The candidates worked super hard to get ready for this, the students who showed up with all of their support, and the families that came and watched - all made it as special and memorable as it should be. Thanks to and for lending their black belt cache to this endeavor. Congrats and well earned to Abdullah, Jason DeConti, Adam, ,Mike Anderson, , and .. We forgot to get a candidates photo, we will rectify that soon!
