Connecticut Belegarth

Hey all, admins are going to be absent from this weeks practice. We'll be at a Belegarth event (Eclipse) in Ohio this weekend. I highly recommend joining CT Battle at their Sunday practice in Shelton CT if you're looking to get some spars in this weekend.

As of this week we will be discontinuing official Thursday practices and be hosting practices every Saturday starting August 12th.

Tomorrow is our first official practice day! Look forward to seeing you all there. We should have plenty of equipment for new fighters.

6 PM at Norton Park in Plainville, CT. We typically set up a spot right beside the skate park on the far side of the park.

Hi all,

Its been a while but we have made some changes to this page (previously known as Hartford County Hearthlight) and have some updates.

We are planning on running weekday practices in central Connecticut once again but under the Belegarth ruleset. We are completely open to any crossgamers coming from Hearthlight, Dagorhir, and Amtgard. We have some loaner equipment being made for new fighters and are determining the exact date, time, and location for these upcoming practices.

Hello friends and players near and far,

Everyone who plays Hearthlight, Dagorhir, or any full contact sport has felt the impact of 2020. Likewise, we did not get to put on or attend half the events we wanted to. Practices waned very quickly, and at this point the group as we know it has been completely inactive for well over 5 months. With one of our core members and founders moving out of CT, the next step for this group is looking to be a complete revamp and relocation.

With luck, upon the start of the next season we will be able to host regular practices again without the threat of a global pandemic. In the interim, we wish all of you a happy winter season, and hope you continue to train and prepare for next seasons combat.

We will be located in the Hartford County region at the start of next year. Time and place of practices is still TBA.
