We spent Memorial Day honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Our residents came together for a prayer and moment of silence, followed by a special parade to show their patriotism and pride. We also honored residents who are widows of veterans with a white rose, a small gesture to recognize their sacrifice and strength.
The day was filled with music as we sang along to patriotic favorites and reflected on the meaning of the holiday. We are grateful for the opportunity to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
