The Fusion family is heartbroken over the loss of Elizabeth Angle this past weekend — the beloved daughter of Coach Brian and a former member of our Fusion 09 Girls. Lizzie was a beautiful soul whose kindness and light touched everyone around her. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, classmates, and her FCD 09G teammates. She will always be remembered, and her spirit will live on through the many lives she touched.

First tournament together and the girls fought all the way to the semis, falling just short on PKs. Tough ending, but a strong showing with lots of lessons learned and great experience gained.

Fusion 12G Blue. After winning President’s Cup a month ago, this weekend they won their flight in the Snowball Cup! Scored 7 and allowed 0 in 4 games. Championship game went to PKs where we won 3-1. Very good competition all weekend. The TEAM defense was outstanding! Every player stepped up across the field! So proud of this team as well!!

Fusion 12G Navy during a crazy tourney weekend in the Snowball Gold flight showing major resilience and perseverance! It all started with a tie then two wins. Crazy enough we were TIED IN ALL TIEBREAKERS and had to face the team we tied Friday night in a PK shootout to advance to finals. We won that 3-1 to play immediately in championship game. The early lead in championship game disappeared ending in another shootout. Girls got their heads up, rebounded, and executed beautifully winning the shootout 4-1!! Very proud of them and their fight, effort, and play this weekend!!

Congrats to Fusion 12G South finishing tied for 1st place in GCL D1 and qualifying for The Junior Cup National Championship in Las Vegas!

Fusion 12G Blue had a GREAT weekend winning President’s Cup and advancing to the Regionals round in June in Round Rock. These girls played their game with heavy possession as they have all fall. Combine that possession with quality shooting and solid defense… you get 16 goals for and only 1 against in 3 games (pool games 6-0, 4-1 then 6-0 championship). Very excited for them! Great weekend!
