FB Reminder about the Round to Remember Raffle that will be opening up at 11am this morning.
For those who missed the announcement on my personal page, Dominic and I are disappointed that due to the Covid lockdown in March, we were not able to hold our Alzheimer's fundraiser that we spent MONTHS planning. Part of the fundraising effort was going to be a raffle at the event. We now have 50 gift cards from various restaurants, stores and places of interest that we would like to offer to our Facebook friends.
At 11am, Dominic and I will go LIVE on my page (I will make the live event public) and will have the raffle board visible. To purchase a gift card, simply choose a numbered envelope (from 1-50) to freeze that card. Once we get a screenshot of your payment we will get the gift card in the mail to you. Each envelope is $20 to purchase and all gift cards are valued at $25 and up, so you are guaranteed to get your money's worth!

EVENT DATE HAS BEEN MOVED! I have been in close contact with the folks at TopGolf in Allen and together we have decided to POSTPONE our event. We have senior citizens and Alzheimer's patients who will be attending and because TopGolf requires communal use of the golf clubs we felt it was best to take the precaution and move the event to a later date. I will update as soon as we have procured a new date.

It is hard to believe that Christmas is right around the corner. This past week the Broome family spent Thanksgiving in a non-traditional way. We headed to the beach and enjoyed a Thanksgiving lunch on the sand of Gulf Shores. David and I sat on matching beach chairs watching the kids dig in the sugary sand and run from the waves as they washed ashore. It is a memory that I took a moment to imprint in my mind.
I assume that most of you also spent time this past holiday with loved ones, reminiscing on the year and enjoying the company of your family. Imagine if those memories were slowly erased from your memory. Alzheimer's disease does just that: stealing memories one at a time. It is relentless.
Please help us this Giving Tuesday by making a donation to our Longest Day event, A Round to Remember. We would absolutely LOVE to have you join us at our event on March 18, 2020. Tickets are $40 each and include playtime, lunch and doubles as a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.

THIS. This is what your donations go toward. Finding ways to lessen the effects of Alzheimer's on our beloved family members and hopefully, to find a cure. If you haven't donated yet, please do so or register for the GOLF TOURNAMENT at TopGolf in March.
