Happy New Year Golf well my friends.
One simple thing that is ignored or forgotten from most golfers games is the pre shot routine. Put it back in your game and see the improvement it will make this year.
Improve your game with these 6 simple steps before every shot.

Choose your final target. Be as specific as you can. Instead of choosing the green choose a patch of grass on the green that stands out.
Choose an intermediate target. Three to five feet in front of your ball find a blade of grass, speck of dirt, or something else that lines up with your final target.
Line up your club with your intermediate target.
Line up your hips and shoulders so that they are parallel with your target line.
Take one final look at your target visualizing your shot by tilting your head along your intended line.
Picture your target in your mind as you make your swing.

If you want to become a more consistent player it’s absolutely ESSENTIAL that you work through your Pre-Shot Routine before every single shot. Even on the driving range! There’s a multitude of variations to this, but consistency is the key. Many have heard me say “do all your thinking behind the ball once you address the ball its go time.”
