Since October is breast cancer awareness month, we are pleased to announce DAMIT exceeded last year's donation to our charity, and are sending Striking Against Breast Cancer a check for $2000. Thanks to everyone who contributed including the Thursday Fun Four league at Rowlett Bowl-a-Rama, Storm OLBA league at AMF Richardson, the bowlers at the Big D Classic, our fundraiser and our tournament for making this possible!

You can see them in the winner's photos, but here is a close up of this year's trophy. Wanted to take this time to thank everyone who helped put DAMIT on this year including Tim Hardin and Azeal Garza, Jose Aguilar, and Randall Buda who helped with our fundraising tournament. Cary and Donetta Fleming who did a great job running brackets and high pots (and congrats to Cary on his well deserved upcoming induction into the NTXUSBC Hall of Fame). Thanks to those who attended our 6th Tournament.

Division BB was a nail biter. With a come from behind victory in the second of the two game matches, winning by 7 pins, were Dominick Santangelo and Jose Hughes-Mendoza.

Our 6th tournament concluded on Sunday with Baker Doubles. Winning Division AA were Doug Brown and Brandon Moore. Doug did something we've never had done before. While we've had double champions before, never has someone won Division A and AA.

Devin English was the only top qualifier today to come away with the win as he got a late double in the final to win Division D.

Taufik Subrato defeated his son Nick in the semifinal before taking home the Division C final with a clutch 5 bagger late in the match.

Singles Division B was won by Mike Yates who survived a close semifinal match against Gerry Williams.

Day one is in the books. Singles Division A was won by Doug Brown, after narrowly winning his semifinal match against Brandon Moore 268-266.
