The Aikido Kotokai Texas in Plano Texas is one of the four approved outer schools, it is under the direction of Charles Hollis, Sensei and is strongly endorsed by the Kotokai in New York.
What is Kotokai? Kotokai is a Japanese Cultural Center in NYC and offers courses in traditional Japanese art forms.
Charles Hollis, Sensei began his studies under Sataki Shihan in late 1984 in Manhattan and studied intensively for over 30 years.
The goal of Aikido Kotokai Texas is to promote Aikido by teaching martial art skills to students. Qualified students are encouraged to open non-profit schools and serve the community with programs such as anti-bullying, self-defense classes to targeted groups subject to bias related incidents or hate crimes and occupations where employees may be exposed to work-place violence.
