Welcome to the Next Level Prospects Orange travel baseball team page. This will be our page for documenting our journey to Cooperstown N.Y.

This is the Next Level Prospects Orange travel baseball team page for our journey to Cooperstown Dreams Park and the 2018 American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational Tournament in June to play at Cooperstown Dreams Park in the 2018 American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational Tournament. Our team plays in the 12U (12 and under) age group and is located in Tampa. We will be traveling to

Cooperstown and playing in the tournament the week of June 3rd. Along the way we will be updating the page with photos, posts and fund-raising news. Our goal is to build a family of folks who jump on the bandwagon and cheer us on as we prepare during our upcoming season. As you can imagine for most of the boys this will be a once in a lifetime trip. The Cooperstown tournament began in 1999 and has matured into one of the premier tournaments in the United States for travel baseball. This year there are 12 weeks of tournaments. Each week of the tournament features over 100 of the best travel baseball teams from across the country. Last year there were teams from nearly every state that participated including Hawaii. In addition to the tournament itself there are skills competitions for teams and individuals including "Golden Arm", "Road Runner", "Around the Horn" and "King of Swat". But it's more than just playing in a baseball tournament. This trip is about making lifetime memories for the players and families. The players all stay with the coaches and counselors in the dorms on property. Between games they have an opportunity to visit the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame, visit the on-site arcade and of course TRADE PINS! Each team has a unique pin that represents their organization and of course all the kids want one from every team! As if that isn't enough each participant in the tournament will be inducted into the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame (AYBHOF) and receive a tournament ring. Each team also has their photo placed on a plaque and displayed in the AYBHOF. As an organization we look forward to making new friends on this page as well. Going forward we will be posting videos, photos and some player profiles as well as results from our spring season so visit often. You can help us by liking our page, following us and sharing with your friends. As you can guess fees and travel to Cooperstown can be expensive. Your participation and generosity with our fund-raising efforts will help ensure that we have no player left behind!! Cooperstown 2018 here we come!

48 hours from now we'll be checking into Cooperstown Dreams Park for the Cooperstown Dreams Park National Invitational Tournament. Thanks to all the sponsors, parents, and especially the coaches and Next Level for all they've done for the boys during this journey. It was a long time coming and it will be over too soon but I can't wait for the first game!

Shout out to the Boys and Coaches. Our results over the past two tournaments show that we're making progress. We need to get mentally tougher on Sunday and have confidence that we can beat teams we've lost to in the past. The results compared to the Fall though speak for themselves. Great Job!

March Madness Super Regional - It was our first tournament this year going 2-0 on Saturday. We won our quarterfinal game against the Southshore Rockets 11-2. Then in the semis we unfortunately lost to the eventual tournament champion CFL Wildcats 11-3. Who (for what it's worth) are ranked 23rd in the country in USSSA and 12th in Florida GSA.

Update for the folks following our page.

Shout out to the kids for their effort this weekend. We had two losses on Saturday, one to each team that ended up in the final on Sunday. They played hard and were competitive in both games and NEVER quit.

On Sunday they played by far their best game of the year and sent the 2nd ranked pool team home 9-1 behind great pitching, defense and timely hitting. Our next game against the Central Florida Cubs was close again but unfortunately our hitting let us down at crucial times. The Cubs ended up winning the tournament so two of our losses this weekend were to the tournament champion.

We just closed out our second board and we can put the Super Bowl fundraiser to bed. Thanks to everyone on the team for the hard work. Thanks to the parents for getting this done and thanks to all our friends and followers for supporting our team and putting up with all the shares, posts, updates....
