Now days some coaches and some associations say closed practices/drills are a waste of time and should not be done, these are the people who say training should be only be about game like practice. Ok yes most of the training should be game like practice that's fair we agree in our opinion with that, however to throw away any form of drill/practice that focuses and tests/displays a players technical base is surely rubbish talk. The great man said it best. Sit at the dinner table without a knife and fork and it's going to get messy!

Love it!!.....How many coaches do we know or players do we know who will come out with sayings like "You're a defender you're not suppose to able to do that, leave that for the midfielders and forwards to do those things and just defend"...."your a forward you can't defend just stick to scoring goals". How about you`re a footballer and regardless of your position on the pitch you should be able to do either because in either or any position the game will require ability and intelligence both with and without the ball !!!....when will we hear that for a change?

In Germany 50% of the assessment for coaching courses is made up of the coaches teaching style and methods. Love it!!. You might have the knowledge but if you don't know how to get it across in a way people can learn or in a manor that makes people want to learn then what's the point. New era, new ways...onwards and forwards!

Note to aspiring footballers, you are the master of your own faith! Find a way, not an excuse.
