We are incredibly proud to share that Maverick has been named the 2026 NHL Experience League Player of the Year, earning recognition as the league’s top player among more than 700 athletes from across New York State!🤯

This prestigious honor is one of the highest achievements in youth hockey and is a true testament to Maverick’s dedication, work ethic, talent, and love for the game.

The Youth NHL Experience League brings together some of the most elite and competitive players from across the state, including athletes from Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, the Capital Region, Central New York, and beyond. Players are drafted onto teams and compete throughout an intense 11-week spring season in Clifton Park.

Competing against many of New York’s top AA and AAA players, Maverick distinguished himself through his exceptional skill, determination, and leadership, ultimately earning the league’s highest individual honor.

This achievement reflects countless hours of hard work both on and off the ice, and we could not be more excited to celebrate this incredible accomplishment.
