Hello all! Today's parade is canceled due to rain, but our demo is STILL ON!

Please come to Cady Field at 2pm. Again, wear full gi and sneakers. Our demo will be under a covered area - either the large tent, or the pavillion. I'm expecting our demo to start around 2:45, but there may be some schedule shifts. If you can't make it today, please let us know so we can adjust the demo plan accordingly.

Mother Nature may have changed our plans — BUT SHE IS NOT TAKING THIS DAY AWAY FROM US! 💪🇺🇸🎉

We have worked WAY too hard, come WAY too far, and overcome WAY too much to simply pack it up and go home.

🔥 SO WE ARE MODIFYING THE PLAN AND MAKING IT HAPPEN!!! 🔥

🚨 IMPORTANT PARADE UPDATE:
The walking/driving parade down Main Street is CANCELLED due to today’s weather and conditions.

BUT WE WANT THOSE FLOATS!!!! 🎉🚒🚙🇺🇸

Beginning AFTER 12:30 PM, we are inviting our parade participants to bring their decorated floats and vehicles directly to the Cady Field parking lot and PARK THEM ON DISPLAY!

You worked hard on them — WE WANT EVERYONE TO SEE THEM! ❤️

⚠️ Please make sure floats do NOT block roadways, gates, entrances, exits or walking paths.

🫧🫧🫧 AND GUESS WHAT?! THE BUBBLE BUS IS COMING, EVERYONE!!!! 🫧🫧🫧

Hello! Tomorrow is the Pleasant Valley Weekend parade and demo! Some reminders and info:
- Parade line up is 12:30p at Traver Road Elem. There is no parking at the school; get dropped off or park in the Acme Plaza and walk up.
- Parade steps off at 1pm, and will end at Cady Field.
- The parade, we are told, is rain or shine.
- Marchers should wear their full gi (uniform) for the parade, and wear sneakers. (No sandals). Rain is in the forecast: bring umbrellas, ponchos, etc. Maybe wear an underlayer.
- Our demo will probably start close to 3pm. If it's raining, our demo will be under the big tent. After the demo, we will buy all participants a treat!

Going waaayyyyyyyy back to the 2012 Pleasant Valley weekend parade!

All students are encouraged to join us on Sunday 9/20 for this year’s PV weekend parade. Sign up at the dojo or send us a text to sign up.

Parade line up is 12:30p at Traver Rd Elementary. Marchers should wear their full gi and sneakers (no sandals please!) students under 16 should have an adult with them; parents please wear a karate shirt if you’re walking with us. Thank you!
