Congratulations to Pleasantville standouts Clara Shingler ‘26 and Sean Dooley ‘27 for being named All-Section for the 2025 Cross Country season! This is Clara’s fourth consecutive honor and Sean’s first. Great job Panthers! We couldn’t be more proud if we tried! 🥳🥳🥳

We are super proud of Adriana Catalano (PHS ‘22) who led her Johns Hopkins women’s XC team to victory in the Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship last week!

This Saturday, Adriana and her team will compete in the NCAA Division III National Championships in Spartanburg, SC.

Another big day for the Panthers at the NY State Championships! Clara Shingler finished 18th and was named All-State for the fourth year in a row! Sean Dooley finished 12th in the Boys Class C race to earn his first All-State honors! Congratulations!!!

Camilla Browand closed out her storied Pleasantville XC career in 20:44.6! Julian Giebelhaus, in his 2nd consecutive states appearance, closed in 16:48.5. The Section 1 girls also took the section title over highly-ranked Section 6!

Julian Giebelhaus, Sean Dooley, Clara Shingler and Camilla Browand are on their way bright and early this morning to Queensbury, NY for tomorrow’s NY State Cross Country Championships! Good luck Panthers!!!

Pleasantville Cross Country had a great day at the Section 1 Class C Cross Country Championships at Bowdoin State Park. 

In the Girls race, Clara Shingler (3rd), Camilla Browand (9th), Julianna Zaino (10th), Catherine O’Brien (13th) and Elise Bisgrove (18th) powered the Panthers to a 2nd Place team finish. Clara and Camilla both advance to the NYSPHSAA State Championship next Saturday in Queensbury, NY. This will be Clara’s fourth consecutive appearance at states and Camilla’s third appearance. Congratulations girls!

In the Boys Class C race, Sean Dooley (3rd) and Julian Giebelhaus (4th) made the podium and also punched their ticket to States next Saturday. This is Julian’s second trip to States and Sean’s first. Congratulations boys!
