The Plum Mustang MTB Team is now officially a nonprofit organization!

As we prepare for another season in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League (PICL), we’re seeking support to help cover team supplies, tools, food, equipment, and other expenses that allow our student-athletes to train, grow, and compete.

We’re excited to launch the PICL Sock Design Contest and want to see what YOU can create. Design an original pair of socks that captures the spirit of riding, adventure, community, and everything that makes PICL awesome. 🚵‍♀️

Have you ever wondered what mountain biking is all about? Looking for a fun way to get outside, make new friends, and challenge yourself?

The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League (PICL) is hosting a FREE Mountain Bike Try-It Ride for students in grades 6-12! Our team, plus Pittsburgh East MTB Mountain Bike team, Franklin Regional Mountain Bike Club and Gateway will all be there!!

✅ Learn what mountain bike teams are all about
✅ Meet riders and coaches
✅ Play fun games and build skills
✅ Ride in a welcoming, supportive environment
✅ No experience required!

Bring your bike and helmet, or borrow one of ours!

🚴‍♀️ Whether you’re already riding trails or have never touched a mountain bike, this is the perfect opportunity to see what the sport is all about.

Calling all girls in grades 5–11! Join us for a full day of riding, confidence-building, friendship, and FUN at the PICL GRiT 1 Day Camp! 🌟

Whether you’re brand new to mountain biking or already ripping trails, this event is for YOU. Ride with amazing coaches and athletes from across Western PA in skill groups designed for every level! 💪

Coach Justin leads our Team Trail Corps and serves as an official trail steward, working alongside the Boyce Park Rangers on special projects and the never-ending job of keeping our trails clear, safe, and ready to ride.

If you’ve never come out for trail work before, this is the perfect chance to see what it’s all about and give back to the trails we love riding.
