On October 28, we welcome Dr. Nia Bailey, DPA, M.A.Ed, RT(T) for an important conversation about breast cancer awareness, early detection, access, advocacy, and the health disparities impacting Black women.

Dr. Bailey brings more than knowledge to this conversation. She brings passion, purpose, and a commitment to ensuring women have the information they need to advocate for themselves and one another.

Some people come into your life and it doesn’t take years to recognize the connection.

Ashley and I haven’t known each other long, but we became fast friends, and now, Sorors. Forever connected. 🔺❤️ There is something beautiful about a divine appointment that grows into genuine friendship, sisterhood, laughter, encouragement, and love.

With her wedding day just a little over a week away, it was such a joy to come together with Sorors to celebrate her, pour into her, make her feel special, and end the day doing what girlfriends do best—eating, laughing, and making memories!

Ashley, I am so excited for this next chapter of your life. I’m grateful God allowed our paths to cross and even more grateful that what began as a connection has become sisterhood.

WORK ANNIVERSARY: One year ago today, I stepped into Montgomery County and into a chapter I had not necessarily planned, but one that has stretched me, affirmed me, and been incredibly rewarding.

This year has reminded me that purpose doesn’t always arrive in the package we imagined. Sometimes the assignment changes, the room changes, and the title changes, but the calling remains the same.

I have had the privilege of serving alongside incredible people, building bridges across communities, creating spaces for honest conversation, developing leaders, celebrating culture, and working to ensure people feel seen, safe, valued, and heard.

And through it all, I have tried to remain grounded in two things that matter deeply to me: integrity and calling. To serve well. To listen before leading. To use my voice responsibly. And to remember that this work is ultimately about people.

To everyone who has supported me during this first year—THANK YOU. Whether you served alongside me, attended an event, made a phone call, opened a door, championed a cause, offered encouragement, shared an idea, or simply showed up for community, you have been part of this journey.

I am grateful for what this year has taught me, proud of what we have built together, and genuinely excited about what is still possible.

One year later, I’m still listening. Still learning. Still building. Still believing.

Different chapter. Same calling. Deeper commitment.

Here’s to Year Two… and continuing to serve with purpose, integrity, courage, and heart.

Still sitting in the awe and gratitude of what God did this weekend at Sandy Cove Ministries.

Nearly 400 women, different ages, backgrounds, experiences, and stories, came together for three days to worship, learn, laugh, cry, hug, break bread, and go deeper. Across four sessions, we unpacked AUDACIOUS FAITH: Believe Bigger. Trust Deeper. Move Boldly.

And whew…God met us there.

We learned from the Protea that the bloom may be what everyone sees, but the roots are the preparation. We RELEASED what could no longer grow with us. RECEIVED what Christ has already given us. REPLACED old narratives with truth. RECLAIMED some ground. And committed to RECOVER, not by going backward, but by walking forward as the women God is forming us to become.

There were testimonies. Tears. Laughter. New connections. Beautiful moments of sisterhood. And yes…some unforgettable “Good Good Girlfriend” talks…. you just had to be there! 😆

A special thank you to Andrea Hampton for continuing to entrust me with the invitation and opportunity to serve these incredible women. Your trust means more than you know. And to my new Sister Friend, Alyce Metallo, what a gift! Your powerful music ministry helped create the atmosphere for God to move, and I am so grateful our paths connected.

I am humbled by every embrace, every story shared, every word of encouragement, and every woman who trusted me to serve her in this sacred space.

My prayer now is that what happened at Sandy Cove doesn’t stay at Sandy Cove.

Tend your roots. Water what you want to grow. Believe bigger. Trust deeper. Move boldly.

Because Audacious Faith has feet.

Soooo… the cameras kept rolling.

You definitely don’t want to miss the FIRST 55 minutes of my conversation with ’Jae Brown at Midlife Wellness. Elevated, because “The Missing Conversation: Perimenopause, Leadership, and the Story Black Women Aren’t Being Told” went THERE.

We talked about what happens when ambition meets transition, your body is changing, life is shifting, but everybody still expects you to keep leading, producing, carrying, and pushing through.

There are seasons in life when you realize that who you journey with matters just as much as where you are going.

This season is reminding me to make room for new relationships, deeper sisterhood, shared laughter, meaningful service, and experiences that simply bring joy to my life.

That is why I am genuinely excited about this journey with the amazing women of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of The National Drifters, Incorporated.

Their commitment to education, community, families, seniors, and the next generation reflects so much of what I value. But beyond the service, I’m looking forward to spaces with powerhouse, like-minded sisters, being in community with women who understand that we can make an impact, pour into others, celebrate one another, and enjoy the journey along the way.

At this stage of my life, I’m choosing spaces that allow me to serve with purpose, connect authentically, laugh freely, grow continually, and leave a legacy that matters.

I have a feeling this journey is going to be special. Here’s to new sisters, new memories, greater impact—and Drifting with purpose!

Another W.O.W Conference in the books!! And as always every woman, every guest, and even the hotel staff leave the experience with Woooooow on their lips. So grateful for every hug and every moment of hallway conversations and expressions of sisterhood. There is no other way to end such a weekend, other than as Royal women to be reminded that we are “Chosen For Change”! There is nothing like a WOW (Women of Wellness) 2026 Conference weekend- my heart is FULL!!!
