Happy Birthday, Jorja! 🎉💚
We hope you’ve had an amazing day and had the opportunity to celebrate this special day surrounded by the people close to you!
Jorja brings an incredible amount of commitment and character to our team. She is a thoughtful, kind, and fun teammate who always finds a way to bring a smile to those around her - whether through her great sense of humour, a thoughtful gesture, or simply the way she supports those around her.
On the ice, Jorja brings a calmness and stability to our crease that provides a steady presence for our team. That composure is matched by a fierce competitiveness. Jorja hates to lose and pushes herself to perform at her best every day, giving her team every opportunity to succeed. Whether it’s a glove save off the rush, a perfectly placed stretch pass up ice, or a key save in a big moment, Jorja is someone we can always count on to come through when her team needs her most. Her efforts were recognized last spring when she earned a spot on the LEC Women’s Ice Hockey All-Rookie Team.
Just as importantly, Jorja is deeply committed to her teammates and our program. She continually asks questions, seeks feedback, and looks for ways to improve, always striving to become the best version of herself, to help the team succeed.
A Psychology major, Jorja has also led by example in the classroom. She finished her first season with a 4.0 GPA during the spring 2026 semester, demonstrating the same dedication and pursuit of excellence academically that she brings to the ice. Her commitment to academic achievement is something we value tremendously as a program, and we are incredibly proud of the example she continues to set both on and off the ice.
Jorja, you bring so many incredible qualities to our team, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have you as part of our Panther family.
