Fishing with my dad..... 1970. I still have that pole. Been using it in the canal. Casts great, just enough bend to sling it a mile.

What does anybody think of this for a flats skiff? I've paddle boarded but never fished from a paddle board. We're talking shallow protected waters with light wind. I'm going fishing in Vieques in a few weeks and this is one of the setups we could use. Mostly we will be fishing in 2'-3' of water that is very warm so I'm guessing if we hook up a big tarpon we would probably fight it in the water but for scouting fish, this setup looks pretty sweet. Also able to access remote areas that wouldn't be wade friendly. How about chucking a fly while on a paddle board. Anyone try it?

Great Black Sea Bass fishing today. Bluebird skies, light wind and big fish. Interesting, the bass were full of scallops. We caught on jigs and squid in 30’-40’ of water.

Some nice big bass yesterday. Mackerel everywhere, hooked a tuna, no bluefish....?

80 Stripers today, Most caught on a white and blue deceiver.....fly. Mackerel out front. No sign of Charlie.

Lots of schoolies today.....big fish too. Hailee caught a bunch of the little guys.
