Freeze Dried Update! 🎉
We’ve restocked at:
📍 Afton’s Farm Stand (Soda Springs)
📍 The Cozy Place, 16th & E Center in Pocatello
📍 Keetch Made, 1850 Truckersville Rd, Pocatello
More freeze dried fruits and veggies are on the way as soon as the electrician finishes installing our new power line and we can get both freeze dryers running at full capacity!
We also plan to have Modi’s Home Plate fully restocked with all of your favorites, including freeze dried candy, fruits, and vegetables, as soon as both freeze dryers are up and running.

Everyone saw my freeze dried strawberry post on Friday, and yesterday my inbox was full of people asking when they would be ready!
Here is a little behind the scenes look at why freeze drying takes so long. Great things take time!
Unlike most preservation methods, freeze drying retains up to 97% of the original nutrients. The tradeoff is time. Lots of it.
These strawberries have already been in the freeze dryer for 120 hours, and they still are not ready to be packaged. 🍓
Strawberries actually take longer than many fruits because their seeds hold onto a surprising amount of moisture. Every bit of that water has to be removed before they are finished.
The best things are worth waiting for, and these strawberries are going to be amazing!

You asked, we listened.
We’ve had a few requests for Mexican beers since opening, so we’re excited to announce that Tall Boy Corona and Tall Boy Modelo are officially in the cooler!
And once we added Corona and Modelo, this week’s Curve Ball pretty much picked itself…

3 tacos loaded with sweet pork, fresh pico, shredded lettuce, Monterey Jack cheese, cilantro lime ranch, and served with tortilla chips.

🚨 WE ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🚨
After weeks of renovations, inspections, repairs, upgrades, and a whole lot of hard work, Modi’s Home Plate is officially open for business!
To celebrate, we’re bringing back a special that barely got its chance at bat.
The Big League Chopped Cheese only made it onto the menu for TWO DAYS before we had to shut down for renovations. That’s not nearly enough time for a sandwich that good.
So this week’s Curve Ball Special is:
