The main firing line will remain closed tomorrow (Thursday, April 3rd) for erosion repair and gravel work. The individual bays will be open for use. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve the range.

2-1/2 MILE BRIDGE CLOSURE EXTENDED. They are still trying to get the sheet piles installed for the new 2-1/2 Mile Rd bridge over I-15. This means the bridge will be closed this week (Monday, January 27th through Friday, January 31st) during the day from 7 am to 4 pm. This means the Oregon Trail Shooting Range will not be accessible during those hours.

EXTENSION OF BRIDGE CLOSURE: There have been delays with driving piles for the new bridge at 2-1/2 Mile Rd that means it is necessary to close the bridge during the day for the next 3 days.

This means that it will not be possible to get to the Oregon Trail Shooting Range during the closures. The bridge will be closed to traffic during the following times:

Day Closures:
Monday, January 20th - Closed 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Tuesday, January 21st - Closed 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Wednesday, January 22nd - Closed 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Night Closures:
Thursday, January 23rd - Closed 7:00 pm to 5:00 am
Friday, January 24th - Closed 7:00 pm to 5:00 am

NOTICE OF BRIDGE CLOSURE. As part of the I-15 widening project, the bridge that crosses the freeway at 2-1/2 Mile Rd will be closed intermittently. They will be demolishing the old bridge half at a time and replacing each half as they go. They will maintain one lane of access through the project, but they will close the bridge during certain scheduled times.

The bridge is closed this week (through Friday) from 8 am to 5 pm, which essentially closes the range for the entire day each day. We are still planning to have our range meeting tomorrow night (Thursday, January 16th) at 7 pm.

The bridge will be open this weekend and the NRL22 match is still on.

The bridge will be closed again during the nights on January 23rd and 24th from 7 pm to 5 am. This should not affect range access during the daytime hours.

NOTICE: The Oregon Trail Shooting Range will be closed Tuesday, June 25th from 12:00 pm (noon) to 4:00 pm for cutting in a fire break. Thank you for your understanding while we work to improve the range.

Please note that the 3-Gun Match scheduled for tomorrow (Sat, March 6th) has been CANCELLED due to the weather.

All of our vendors now have 2023 annual membership key-cards. The new electronic gate is now active. Get yours at Bishop’s Gun Barn, C-A-L Ranch Stores, Counter Strike Supply Company, and Old Town Gunslingers.

LIFETIME MEMBERS: For lifetime members only, we will be distributing your new key cards tomorrow morning (Sat, Jan 14th) between 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm at the Larry Allenbaugh Clubhouse (the large steel building by the main firing line). You will need to verify your contact info and know your old key number to pick up your new card.

NOTICE: We are transitioning to an electronic gate system at the main gate near the cell tower. This new gate will open with an RFID key card the size of a credit card. This gate system is currently under construction and the metal gate has temporarily been replaced with a chain. The chain still has the 2022 annual, lifetime, and law enforcement locks on it. The 2022 annual keys will continue to work until we have the new gate system in place and get setup to issue the key cards for 2023. Lifetime members will be mailed a new key card, so please update your address with us if you have moved. Send updates to [email protected].
