The Pocatello Runnin Rebels are still alive after playing one incredible game yesterday, battling with grit, determination, and heart to keep their AA State Tournament run going.

Now they face another tough challenge as they take on the Idaho Falls Bandits this afternoon.

The Runnin’ Rebels are still battling! 💪⚾

After a hard-fought win over Idaho Prime today, the Rebels keep their tournament run alive and will be back on the diamond tomorrow at 1:00 PM.

They’ll face whomever is defeated of the Idaho Falls Bandits vs. Twin Falls Cowboys matchup with another opportunity to keep advancing.

One game at a time. Keep the energy high, keep believing, and let’s pack the stands to cheer on these young men as they continue their postseason journey.

The road through the State Tournament continues!

The Runnin’ Rebels are back on the diamond today at 12:00 PM, where they’ll face the winner of the 9:00 AM matchup between Prime and Minico.

Yesterday tested this team in every way imaginable—105° heat and the challenge of playing two games back-to-back. Through it all, these young men continued to compete with grit, determination, and heart.

Let’s cheer on the Rebels as they battle for another chance to keep their tournament run alive. Good luck, boys—we’ll be rooting for you every step of the way!

Today’s State Runnin Rebels Recap:

Game 1:

The Post 4 Runnin’ Rebels opened the Idaho AA State Tournament with a 7-3 comeback victory over CDA LUMS!

After trailing early, the Rebels erupted for six runs in the third inning and never looked back. Strong pitching from Dawsyn Peterson and Tyler Adams, along with timely hitting and aggressive baserunning, powered a complete team win.

Game 2:

The Post 4 Runnin’ Rebels battled until the final out but came up just short in a 4-3 loss to Middleton Vikes.

The Rebels fought back to take a 3-1 lead before Middleton tied it, then scored the go-ahead run in the seventh. Cody Smith led the offense with three hits, while Karson Farmer turned in a strong start on the mound.
