New Year’s Eve steel! Stoked to shake hands with this beast. Caught on the ole trusty DSS1143-2CG and the OG 100. Absolutely love the way the barrel shape fits in my hand. Bead and float made by . The STX float and cerise-clown Glow Frost 12mm bead. River Ops Boa Boots, Boundary Gore-Tex Zip Stocking foot Waders, and my Guide Classic Wading Jacket made for a safe and dry trip down stream.

These Batson Enterprises component built custom rods make a difference in my fishing success; 1. Sensitivity - the Rainshadow Eternity RX10 rivals FFS in knowing what’s going on down there! 2. Hookup to landing ratio of power fishing presentations - the Rainshadow Judge CB blank just keeps ‘em buttoned! Get the catalog! Start building or start working with a builder!

Epic day, words cannot describe just how epic the epicness of this day was. and put us on the bluefin tunas. I’ve caught many fish of many sizes and many species. But I’ve been frustrated the picky picky picky for many years now(I think I tried for the first time in 2016😬😂). Coming down from to CA from WA makes it tough to put the time in to earn a legit bite from one of the sea monsters. Today July 3 was the day. Landed a 100+ pound delicious sashimi filled fish. Could not be more stoked. More pics and vids to follow 🤙🏻….

Finally managed to get out after that weird west coast cold snap. Went 1/3 on my local river. Excellent day managed to pull this 10lb class fish out of a small the pocket you would never think a fish of that size would be laying in. Maybe the dimensions of a 6’ folding table. The Ninja Net made landing this fish solo possible. Check it out if you haven’t already. Used a Hundo reel, a DSS1143-2CG 9’6” 2pc float rod, and an “Hyper Blue” Steelhead pink 14mm soft bead. If you want a deal on one of the best ways to catch some steel. Use discount code KELLER-BATSON for 15% off of products!
