Breathe Yoga

Breathe Yoga Breathe Yoga is a community space for movement, mindfulness and meaningful connection. We offer a wide variety of classes for every level student.

Come as you are and discover the power of presence, practice and shared experience. I am passionate about exposing students to the sacred physical and philosophical practice of yoga. I consider it my true honor to work with beginning students. If you always thought about trying yoga--I'd love to practice with you. I believe that yoga is for everyBODY! We never force ourselves into any positions and always provide multiple alternatives for different levels. We spend time learning how physical postures feel in our bodies, using our breath as a guide. Looking forward to flowing with you!! Class descriptions below! Restorative yoga is a restful practice where we hold poses passively for longer periods of time. We use props to relax the muscles and restore the body. One pose may be held from 5-20 minutes. We welcome in stillness to tap into our parasympathetic nervous system where we rest and digest. You can expect a mellow, low energy flow that encourages you inward. This flow is accessible for all. Yin Yoga is a quiet, contemplative practice. We target the connective tissues, ligaments and deep fascia by holding poses in an active stretch for long periods of time. Each class may include 5-7 positions, held for 5-8 minutes. Vinyasa yoga is an energetic, athletic flow class that strings together various yoga poses. We aim to attach breath to movement and place each posture with intention.

So grateful for these kind, adventurous, vulnerable souls for giving me the great honor of guiding them on this wellness journey through Iceland. I’m reminded that yoga means to yoke—to unite and to bring together in community. And when we gather as our authentic selves, meeting each day with presence and wonder—healing and magic happens. This experience will stay with me forever. Thank you.

Volcanoes, glaciers, waterfalls—vast reminders that the world is far more extraordinary than we often notice. There is joy in putting ourselves in the way of beauty, into places that ask us to look up, look closer, and feel more deeply.
Awe invites in wonder—the kind we experienced so freely as children. When everything was new—when we could spend an entire afternoon captivated by something as simple as a shell, a ladybug, or the waves.
Before we learned to rush past things. Before the extraordinary became ordinary. Before we stopped looking.
Maybe awe is an invitation to remember that way of seeing. To let ourselves be astonished again. To allow the world to interrupt us long enough to remind how miraculous it is to simply be here.
Today, we put ourselves in the way of beauty—and allowed ourselves to be moved by it.
Sometimes, that is enough.

We often speak of going into nature as if we are entering somewhere separate from ourselves. But we are nature. We are made of the same earth, carried by the same elements, nourished by the same cycles. The trees, the water, the mountains, the birds, the people beside us—we are all participating in one living system.
Nature doesn't strive to be anything other than what it is.

A river finds its way.
A seed grows toward the light.
A mountain stands through seasons of change.
There is no resistance to what is. No comparison. No need to become more worthy of belonging.
What if we could meet ourselves with that same reverence?
What if we could allow ourselves to be exactly where we are—unfinished, changing, imperfect, and still completely a part of the whole?
Perhaps nature's greatest lesson isn't something it tells us.
It simply shows us.
Be here.
Be what you are.
You already belong.

On this journey through Iceland, we’re practicing the art of being present—allowing ourselves to experience each moment as it comes.
Because when we step outside the familiar, something unexpected can happen. A moment we couldn’t have planned. A connection we didn’t anticipate. A little bit of magic found simply by being open to what’s unfolding.
Adventure has a way of revealing more than the landscape around us. It can reveal something within us, too.
Maybe that’s the gift of traveling with presence: we don’t have to know exactly what we’re looking for. We just have to be here for what we find.

We moved, breathed, soaked, plunged, wandered, and explored—starting with Vinyasa and ending the day surrounded by some of Iceland’s incredible landscapes.
Hot water. Big skies. Deep breaths.
Lots of laughter and even better company.
A reminder that wellness doesn’t always have to be quiet or still. Sometimes it looks like adventure, and saying yes to the experience.

Juniper Tours & Breathe Yoga’s wellness tour began with crisp Arctic air, dramatic landscapes, and that unmistakable feeling of being somewhere completely different.
We slowed down, explored Reykjavík, and ended our first day at Sky Lagoon—soaking in warm geothermal waters.
A beautiful first reminder of what this week is really about: slowing down, reconnecting, and making space to simply be.
There will be hiking, waterfalls, yoga, breathwork, geothermal waters, nourishing food, and plenty of adventure ahead.
But for today, we’re settling in, soaking it all up, and feeling deeply grateful to be here. We can’t wait to meet the rest of our group!
Iceland, let the journey begin.

We will be closed for Labor Day. We hope your Monday includes rest—because rest is part of the practice, too.
May it be a reminder that we don’t have to constantly do, produce, achieve, or keep moving. Sometimes the most nourishing thing we can do is slow down, breathe, spend time with the people we love, and let ourselves simply be. We will see you on the mat on Tuesday.
