🛹 20 YEARS OF POLSON SKATEBOARDING. LET’S MAKE THIS ONE HUGE.

2006 → 2026.

This September, we’re celebrating 20 YEARS of the 7th Ave Skatepark with the 2026 POLSON SKATE JAM! 🎉🛹

For two decades, this park has given generations of local skaters a place to learn, progress, meet friends, take some slams, land tricks they’ve worked on for months, and become part of a skate community that continues to grow.

On Saturday, September 19th, we’re bringing everybody together to celebrate it.

And a HUGE thank you to the businesses and organizations already stepping up to support this year's event. The Skate Jam wouldn't have made it 20 years without a community that continues to get behind it.

We aren't done yet either. 👀 More sponsors, prizes and announcements are coming.

If you've ever skated this park, attended a Skate Jam, competed, volunteered, sponsored us, brought your kids down, or just hung out and watched...

We want to see you September 19th.

Some towns get a skatepark. Polson built one twice.

The first one wasn't official. It was the concrete foundation of a torn-down building on the corner of 7th and 7th, and a group of kids in the mid-90s decided it was theirs. They swept it clean. They hauled ramps out every weekend all summer, built with borrowed tools and mismatched paint. In 1996, George Cutright threw a skate jam to promote his shop, FGD. Skaters came from across western Montana. Nobody had any idea they were starting something.

Thirty years later, we're still throwing it.

Twenty years ago this town came together and got real concrete poured — a proper park, just west of that old corner, out at the Polson Sports Complex. Same street. Whole different world. Today the 7th Ave Skatepark is one of the best parks in Montana, and on September 19th we're celebrating two decades of it the only way that makes sense: by skating it all day.

William Lambson was someone who spent most of his free time helping others, and even after his death, he is still finding ways to help his community.

Skatejam 2025 was one for the books! 🛹🔥 Thank you to everyone who came out to ride, cheer, and keep Montana’s longest-running Skate Jam rolling strong. The energy, the tricks, and the community love made this year unforgettable.

A heartfelt thank you for joining us in honoring our late friend and community member, William Lambson. His passion for skateboarding and dedication to Polson’s skate scene will live on through every push, every trick, and every new generation of skaters. ❤️

We couldn’t do this without YOU and our incredible sponsors who help keep this tradition alive year after year. 🙌

And the best part? Next year we’ll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Polson Skatepark — and we plan to make it one to remember! 🎉

What an incredible year for skateboarding in Polson! Thank you to everyone who came out for Skatejam 2025 and helped make history. This is Montana’s longest-running Skatejam, a tradition that’s been rolling strong since the mid-90s!

The Montana skateboarding community is one of a kind, and we’re beyond grateful for the love and support you show year after year. Without you—and the help of our amazing sponsors—this tradition wouldn’t be possible.

A special thank you as well for being there to support and memorialize our late community member, William Lambson. His love for skateboarding and his impact on the Polson skate community will never be forgotten.

We can’t wait to celebrate our skatepark’s 20th anniversary with you next year, and we’re planning to make it another one to remember!

Special thanks to:
