2 weeks back into this sprinting journey and this week already felt noticeably better 🔥

Last week was all about shaking the rust off and getting comfortable producing force again. This week, things started feeling a little more natural. I felt more fluid with my movement, more relaxed, and less timid about opening it up as the workout progressed.

I was able to add a little more sprint volume while also spending time dialing in mechanics and positions. Nothing crazy, just focusing on the little details that make a big difference over time. Rhythm, posture, projection, and learning how to move efficiently again.

One thing I love about sprinting is that it exposes everything. You can’t fake relaxation, coordination, or force production at higher speeds. It demands patience and respect for the process.

We’re still keeping things controlled and building gradually, but it feels good reconnecting with this side of training again. Small improvements every week 📈

Bodywork is essential for everyone ⚡️

Pain isn’t always coming from where you feel it. That’s why at we assess movement, restrictions, and imbalances instead of just chasing symptoms.

In this case, knee pain was connected to the glutes and medial calves. Through bodywork and movement assessment we were able to help relieve tension, improve movement, and get feeling better 🫡

Your body deserves maintenance too.

As temps rise, so should your hydration.

If you’re sweating, you’re losing more than water. Electrolytes matter for performance, energy, and avoiding cramps.

Quick tips for summer workouts:
Hydrate before you start, not just during
Add electrolytes for longer or outdoor sessions
Train early morning or later in the evening
Pay attention to signs like fatigue, dizziness, or cramping

Don’t let the heat be the reason your workouts fall off.

5 things that commonly contribute to lateral knee pain:
1. Overworked TFL and IT band
2. Glutes not doing their job, especially glute med
3. Lack of hip control when you run or squat
4. Limited ankle mobility changing how you move
5. Doing too much too soon without enough recovery

Knee pain usually isn’t random. It’s your body responding to stress it’s not quite handling well yet.

Address the cause, not just the symptoms. Stay Ready

It’s meeting you where you’re at and building a plan that actually fits you, especially if you’re coming back from injury or surgery.
