It's starting to get dark earlier! Hunters and anglers, remember to plan accordingly. Also, recreational boats operating at night are required to display navigation lights between sunset and sunrise.

🎣 MARCH MEATFISH CHALLENGE 🎣

Join us from March 1st - 31st to showcase your heaviest catch! This competition is open to both members and the public—let’s have some fun! ☀️

Categories:
• Heaviest Meatfish (Members Only)
• Heaviest Meatfish (Public Only)
• 3 Fish Aggregate (Members & Public)

Eligible Species:
• Kingfish
• Tuna
• Mahi
• Wahoo
• Cobia

Rules & Information:
Fish must be weighed in at Carefree Pompano Dock between 9 AM - 5 PM, Tuesday to Sunday at 2315 NE 15th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 (North Dock).

Fish must be caught same day as weighed in, no Bahamas fish allowed.

Please text 786-463-0963 when heading to the dock, including your angler name and boat info, so we can assist with docking.

Email [email protected] with a photo of the fish on Carefree’s scale, showing the angler, fish, and scale clearly. Be sure to include the angler’s name, date caught, species, weight, phone number, and email address.
