This last Tuesday we held our CNY league in house shoot off and banquet. Considering the weather that was forecasted it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. 2 shooters shot perfect 50’s on the night and that was Jim Dries and Jim st Pierre. After extra rounds of shoot offs, Jim Dries was crowned the club champion, congratulations Jim! There were many more shoot offs to determine class and category winners that all went well. Congratulations and thank you to all the shooters from Pompey for another successful year of shooting!! Thank you to Ed and Pete for captaining the team to victory and working tirelessly each week.

There is a bunch of catching up to do with the CNY trap league. First of all we are proud to announce that we were the southern division champions again this year!!!! Congratulations to the whole team for another successful year. Next up as the CNY north/south shoot off. Mike Bumpus jr and Tyler Conover were perfect that day with 50x50 straight in the main event. After shootoffs for champion Mike Bumpus jr was crowned the AA champion. Next was the team results where we as south winners and Toad Harbor was north winner competed to see who would be the overall league champion and we prevailed the champion for that also. Last for the day was the north/south 5 man teams where we were proudly represented by Mike Bumpus jr with the highest average in the south (97.00) but unfortunately the south did not come out victorious in this event, congratulations to the north 5 man team.

Nice night to end the year at Bridgeport. Congratulations to everyone who made the board or bettered their scores. The league shoot-off is this Saturday at Central Square.
