Excited for Friday Night Lights? We are so grateful to our polo fans! A few tips as we have bigger crowds- it is helpful to bring a chair and parking on the hill is for tailgaters (spots are limited), otherwise please park by the hitting cage. Hope to see you at the game with gates opening at 6 pm and game at 7 pm!

We are meeting at Laurel Park on Sat, Feb 19 for the 12:25 pm Post. Thanks to Neil Agate, we have our first tip. Seneca Polo Club has a table reserved in Tips Restaurant, by the window on the track. The paddock is a right there, so we can check out the ponies! We can watch from inside or the rail.

Salvage your plans with Eyler’s Horse Auction, live via Zoom, we can virtually hobnob with all the movers and shakers, Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, you know, our kind. Horses are up at 2 pm. Seneca Polo lost a dear friend over the weekend, George Williams, a member of our Seneca polo family and our first sponsor, passed away on Saturday. George was a long-time horse lover and avid polo fan. He loved to sit in the very front row to watch. He called them the $100 seats, which was the joke because the seats are free. George helped inspire our white board because he wanted to know the riders AND horses by name. George was a dedicated fan and joined my mother in the stands to cheer us on through many club practice games. During Covid, George also joined our Friday Night Zoom Tailgate watch parties to learn more about the game. We last saw George for the Sportsman Cup Tournament on a recent blustery day, weather for only a serious fan! We compared recent injuries and made up a new handicap system based on our mobility. We had a really good laugh. George and Wayne talked after at the Player’s Party about putting together a party with meat from the smoker. George Williams. Always positive. Always looking forward. Always making a difference.
Remember, Remember the 5th of November! Come out and we will have a warm fire to celebrate our polo season.
