Beards Baseball Youth Camp

Beards Baseball Camp was one for the books. We had perfect weather all week. The kids learned new skills and participated in our Beards Baseball Camp Summer Games! I had so much fun getting to know and work with all these amazing kids.

Thank you to Ozark Regenerative Health - Dr. Carrie Carda, Amy McLean and Stephanie Knoppe- Realtors at Poplar Bluff Realty, Pizza Inn for sponsoring this fun camp! Thank you to Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation for allowing us to use the field this week. I can't say enough about what Lanny and staff have done for youth sports in PB, especially these last few years.

Day 2 was a fun one! Our 2nd Beards Baseball Camp Summer event was the sunflower seed spitting contest. It was won in dominating fashion by Roman Jordan!

Our daily award winners were:
Glue Guy Award: Everett Green
Growth Award: Henry Howard
Future Big Leaguer: Simon Webster

Day 1 was a huge success. Our 1st Beards Baseball Camp Summer Games event was amazing. It was our groundball challenge, and if you missed 2 you were out! It took forever because these kids wouldn't miss! Everyone did great! It was eventually won by Reid Varvil!

We can’t thank the Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation enough for letting us use the facility, but also being out here at 7:45 dragging the fields and cutting grass this morning. Lanny and crew are a class act!

⚾️ 7,8,9 Year Old Baseball Camp ⚾️

Beards Baseball Youth Camp offers young players the opportunity to take a more advanced approach to their baseball journey in a fun and positive learning atmosphere. Our staff will teach each player baseball fundamentals, drill work specifically designed to improve each camper's offensive and defensive skills, and simulated game situations. Camp is open to 7, 8, and 9 year olds.

All athletes, regardless of skill level, will learn new general baseball and position specific skills along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork and responsibility.

Campers will receive t-shirt and other items on last day of camp. Daily awards and prizes for camp games and contests! 🏆

All participants will come away with new friends, new skills and love for the game.
