It’s hard to find the right words for this, but after a lot of reflection, I’ve made the decision to bring my Muay Thai classes to a close.
We will finish out July until the police academy starts on the 27th.
This gym and this community have meant more to me than I can really put into a post. Coaching here has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. I’ve had the privilege of watching so many of you push through hard days, grow in confidence, build discipline, and become stronger versions of yourselves—not just as fighters, but as people.
I’m deeply grateful for every person who walked through the doors, trusted me as their coach, and helped build what we had here. None of this existed without you.
With my upcoming commitment to the police academy, I simply won’t be able to give the classes the time, energy, and consistency they deserve. Rather than let it fade or fall short, I want to end it properly and with respect to everyone who invested in it.
To my students—past and present—thank you. Truly. You gave this place life, and I will always be proud of what we built together.
This isn’t the end of Muay Thai for me, just the end of this chapter as a coach in this setting. What I’ve learned here will stay with me for the rest of my life.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. I'm going to miss this.
