Semo Vipers Baseball Team

We are making supper easy on Monday night (April 13th)! Help these boys raise some ‘dough’ for their travel baseball expenses…they’ll even be there to wait on your table!

The Vipers battled all weekend to go 4-0! We pulled out big wins in pool play yesterday against the Illinois Gators (9-2) & the Whiskey City Sluggers (8-1) to get the one seed for bracket play.

Today, we pulled out a close one against the Illinois Gators to win 9-8, scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 5th to advance to the championship. And the championship game didn’t disappoint being another nail biter, but we pulled it out, winning 12-11.

These boys rattled the bats, scoring a total of 38 runs. And our pitchers stepped up big time on the mound with a total of 35 strikeouts on the weekend.

We are hosting tryouts for our spring season next Wednesday, August 6th at Whiteley Park! If you aren’t able to make it, please send us a message & we can set up a private tryout.

The hottest part of the weekend were these boys’ bats! These boys came to play ball this weekend & no heat warning was going to slow them down! In four games, they scored 56 runs and allowed only 4 runs. They averaged only 1.75 walks per game & threw out three runners stealing second! And to top it off, they didn’t make a single defensive error all weekend. They were seeded #1 out of 16 teams going into bracket play & took home first place today! What a great way to end our Vipers season this year!

The Semo Vipers kicked off their spring season today in Conway, AR! The boys went 1-1 in pool play, going into bracket play as the 4 seed tomorrow.

It was a long & hot weekend in Jonesboro for the Vipers to finish their fall season! We fell short in two close games in pool pool on Saturday, sending us to the Silver bracket for Sunday. But these boys battled back with two BIG wins on Sunday to play in the championship game but fell short of the championship to end the weekend.

We finished playing at 10:30 pm on Saturday night & played from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm on Sunday, so they literally gave it all they had! So excited to see what the Spring season holds! Congrats Vipers!

The Vipers fell just short in the semifinals today against the Arkansas Yard Dawgs, with a final score of 8-10. These boys never gave up & fought hard all the way to the end! Looking forward to our next tournament!

The Vipers ended their season today with a 2nd place finish in the silver bracket. These boys have been so much fun to watch this year. The first year of live arm is a hard adjustment & these boys worked so hard to learn the game & improved so much. We are looking forward to next season!
