What an AMAZING day we had at Hatchet House for our Totally Fun Tuesday Mad Scientist Lab! 🧪🔬👩‍🔬
The kiddos had an absolute blast diving into science with several fun experiments, and the Alien Egg Relay was definitely a crowd favorite! 👽🥚 There were lots of laughs, excitement, and a little friendly competition. And of course, Bingo was a huge hit as well! 🎉
We want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of the parents who trust us with your children and continue to support us. It means the world to us to be able to provide a safe, fun environment where kids can learn, laugh, and make memories together.
Seeing all those smiling faces today reminded us exactly why we do what we do. 💚

I've been getting a lot of messages from people saying how sorry they are that Hatchet House is closing and how unfortunate it is that the community didn't support it.
I'm just going to be honest.
I used my savings and took on debt to create a place where families and friends could come together, have fun, make memories, and enjoy a safe environment. I wanted it to be affordable for everyone, including those who may not have a lot to spend, which is why we offered so many free activities.
In the 11 months Hatchet House has been open, I never put a single penny into my own pocket. In fact, I continually put money into it. I volunteered my time, energy, and heart because I genuinely wanted to give something back to this community.
Last week, I announced that Hatchet House would be closing in three weeks due to a lack of support. I invited everyone to come out one last time, check it out, and make some memories before the doors close.
The hard truth is that very few did.
What hurts the most isn't just the lack of community support. It's realizing that many friends, acquaintances, and even family members never took the time to stop by and see something I worked so hard to build. On Saturday, I watched people I know walk right past our doors without ever stepping inside.
I'm not angry, and I don't hold grudges. Everyone is free to spend their time and money however they choose.
But before sending apologies or explanations, I would simply ask: Did you support the small businesses you wanted to see succeed? Did you stop by? Did you tell your friends, coworkers, or family about it? Did you encourage others to give it a try?
Because the reality is that small businesses don't survive on good intentions. They survive on support.
Regardless, I want to thank every single person who did walk through our doors, brought their families, shared our posts, attended our events, and believed in what we were trying to build. Those memories and those people are what I'll remember most.
We still have a few weeks left, and we'd love to see you before Hatchet House closes for good on June 30th. But yes I said what I said and nope not sorry it was something I had to get off my chest.

💔 Hatchet House is Closing 💔
With great sadness, we have come to the very difficult decision that it is time to close the doors of Hatchet House.
We have given this business our all and poured our hearts and souls into creating a place that was affordable, fun, and safe for people of all ages to come together, make memories, and enjoy themselves.
Along this journey, we have shared so many laughs, celebrated special moments, and made friendships that we will cherish forever. We are incredibly grateful to every person who walked through our doors, supported us, shared our posts, and became part of the Hatchet House family.
Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, there simply has not been enough support to keep the doors open.
June 30th will be our last day. We would love to see each and every one of you before then. Come hang out, have some fun, and help us make a few more memories before we close our doors for good.
Thank you for every smile, every visit, every kind word, and every memory. We will forever be grateful for the love and support you have shown us.

What an adventure it was! The kids had an absolute blast searching for treasure, solving clues, and bravely crossing the plank over our merciless shark-infested waters! 🦈☠️ There were lots of laughs, smiles, teamwork, and memories made along the way.
Seeing the excitement on their faces and hearing their giggles throughout the day is what makes events like these so special. We are grateful for the opportunity to provide a fun, safe place for kids to play, imagine, and just be kids.
